About Us
Fortis was founded to be different from its competitors putting technology, transparency and staff retention at its core. Our founder identified the same mistakes being made whilst working for agencies using outdated methods of reporting and communicating with clients and Leaseholders.
We began investing in technology prior to our inception to ensure that we deliver up to date reporting and high service levels to our clients and Leaseholders. Transparency is at the forefront of all that we do, and we believe that being forthright and upfront with all concerned increases customer satisfaction and reduces the workload on our Property Managers. We are working on new programs and software behind the scenes and are setting out to be industry leading for customer satisfaction over the coming years.
We also recognised that staff retention rates in Block Management are abysmal and itβs not hard to see why. Industry surveys found that 65% of industry professionals felt their mental health was at risk working in Block Management in 2023. We believe, this comes about from overworked staff not being provided the resources to manage a block effectively. We have set out to be different, our portfolios are some of the smallest around and we recognise as an agency we have a duty of care to our staff to provide them with all the tools to manage your block effectively. We have set out to reward our Managers and we share our success as a team. This means our clients benefit from happier, higher skilled and more consistent Property Managers there to work with you for the common goal of achieving the best for your block.
John Stock, LLB, AssocRICS, MIRPM
John has over fifteen years experience in Block Management and Property Law and has worked for some of the leading industry agents managing two unit blocks through to schemes in excess of 1000 units.
He is passionate about improving standards in the industry and Fortis has been founded to improve both the expertise and customer experience within Block Management.
John also runs monthly free of charge surgeries for Leaseholders from any block in England & Wales to enable them to pose questions and seek advice that they may have in respect of their block.
